Good. Authentic setting. Well located near Federal Palace.
Very friendly service
Was just great
Fine, good service!
Very friendly and courteous service highly recommended
Very good inexpensive food ... with very friendly service. I like the place very much. My style .
The cheese slices with fried eggs, a hit for decades
Nice, authentic eatery with friendly staff
Traditional and very good!
Expensive and not good! But REALLY not good: Röstis oily to perfection when you eat excellent in the city Fondue very liquid and saturated with Kirsch and white wine whereas we had ordered it for CHILDREN !!!!! Not on the menu but supposedly recommended: THEY HAVE PAYED THE ADDITION VERY EXPENSIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A PURE SCAM !!! I SHOULD READ THE REVIEWS TO THE END! INADMISSIBLE THAT IT BE WELL NOTE, THIS IS FALSE COMMENTS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DARE TO SAY THE FONDUE IS GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best Rösti! Cheese fondue was ok. Sercive very polite and attentive.
Old Bernese bistro with woodwork and beautiful old tables.
The tartare was excellent and the tomato soup a poem too. Gladly again. Last time, to our amazement, Bligg looked at us. ? A good address and also very friendly.
It was fine, but for a corden bleu with chips CHF 41.00 with hardly any ham and cheese in it the price seems a bit high.
After an excursion to the Jungfraujoch, the chance visit here was a nice end to a summer day; the desire for a sausage and cheese salad was well met, very personable service; gladly again.
My husband and I also think the prices are completely ok, and it has never happened to me that a dish did not come warm to the table. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired, the seating is extremely cozy and the distance between the seats is extremely decent. There you don't get the feeling of dining like fish in a can. Not only the attentive local staff was the absolute hit when we visited, but also the great climate.
Real traditional restaurant. Highly recommend the cheese fondue!
Decorations on the squares and in the entire restaurant are acceptable and beautiful. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a nice impression. We didn't have to wait long for the food and our drinks. It was great because we had a huge cravings that evening. The waitresses are always extremely hard-working and non-stop obligatory! We are completely pleasantly surprised. We both will definitely be back.
We asked for table for 6 and a table of 5 for a group of 11. The waitress immediately turned us down and walked away even when we found free tables. We insisted that we were okay to eat outside since there were definitely enough tables that would fit us. However, the waitress just said "No, Sorry!" "NO, sorry!" without even trying to accommodate us. This is such a bad service, which I feel is a case of racism. The experience is totally the opposite of its name. No harmony at all.
Where better to go to experience Swiss national dishes then Harmonie. Run by Gyger family since 1915 offers traditional Swiss cousins, in particular delicious classics herbal fondue. Recommend also trying the legendary Zuger kirschtorte.
Top
Very friendly staff cozy atmosphere food excellent price performance is right fully and certainly not the last time there was highly recommended
We had to have cheese fondue at least once in Switzerland! This restaurant in the old town was a good choice. We started with salads, then cheese fondue with apples to dip (in addition to the bread). The waitress suggested 1.5 portions of fondue instead of full 2 portions. It was just right - I think we might have left a little cheese. We ended up with a Kirschtorte (chocolate cherry cake). All delicious. There are other items on the menu besides fondue and we were tempted to come back but didn't. Reservation recommended.
Great cheese fondue. Love it and understand why the locals live this too
Great service, friendly staff and typical Swiss food. Top fondue in classic style. Highly recommended and a great way to enjoy original Swiss cuisine.
Excellent!
The steak tartar was really good. Very kind and helpful staff too.
Good food, decent service
A traditional restaurant with a great service and a very good cheese fondue. More "Switzerland" does not work. There is a very good wine selection. The atmosphere is relaxed and very cozy, especially if you are sitting in the "garden" protected. Definitely recommended.
Delicious food with matching wine for every plate. One of the best places in Bern.
This place is all about the cheese fondue! It just reeks of cheesy goodness from the minute you walk in. I shared a pot of molten cheese accompanied wtih bread, and some shaved aged bacon. It was so good! It was really packed, but we still managed to get a table without a reservation. Almost every table had a pot of liquid cheese bubbling away. Really a very comfortable, homey feel to the place. I'd recommend it.
Place is easy to find as it is very near the Zytglogge in Old Town Bern. We were there 27-Dec-18 and fondue was perfect for the chilly evening. Best to make a reservation as the place gets full quite easily. Ordered 2 fondues - Truffle & Champagne and the Cheese. Preferred the former. The Cordon Bleu is good too. Do drop by.
Nice little Restaurant with charm
Food was ok. A little pricey.
Delicious fondue!
We ordered Fondue and we got watery cheese. I even turned the heat off and the Fondue was still so watery. Complained, but we apparently don't know.... Great location, bad Fondue!
Great food Great fondue!
Great traditional Swiss dishes. Note to all Americans: Chocolate fondue is NOT a traditional Swiss dish ???
Friendly staff and good food - bun less burger is a bit small as is the asparagus soup. The macaroni made grandma style with apple sauce is amazing
Now food and nice service.
Bad experience, the food was not good and it was very expensive there are another restaurants with a better quality - price
Slow service
I used lunch. The shop was very kind and gave me various explanations of the dishes. The Swiss food I wanted was a bit over budget, so I chose Schnitzerl for lunch today. It is not traditional Swiss food, but it was delicious.
The place for a apéro or a fondue
very authentic...! staff were really kind. we had a pleasant experience in Bern.
Love swiss food...but this isn't. Creme broulee is pudding? Saurbratten, small portion and the meat is tough. Pricey and mediocre.
Delicious and authentic Swiss cuisine. Highly recommended by a colleague and well worth the price.
